FAQs

  • Yes, I work with athletes via zoom.

  • No ma’am/ sir. I am not a licensed counselor. My focus is on mental skills training and teaching athletes skills that can impact their mindset within their performance domain. If you are looking for a counselor in Oklahoma, I am happy to refer you; if you reside in a different state and aren’t sure where to start, please check out psychologytoday.com for counselors who may be a good fit for you.

  • Of course! I work with athletes who are 13 years old and older. These MST programs are five sessions in length in which we focus on five mental skills: imagery, self-talk, relaxation, refocus routines, and goal setting.

  • If you schedule a consultation, I would love if you can be there for that. The client sessions tend to be more effective if the child attends alone. With that said, you are more than welcome to attend your child’s session if you prefer to do so.

  • Most often, I meet with athletes once every other week. If you need a more flexible type of arrangement or would like to spread the sessions out over the course of a season, we can make this happen as well.

  • Baseball, softball, wrestling, lacrosse, track and field, cross country, rodeo, basketball, boxing, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis.

Athlete of all levels who are at least 13.

Whether it be determining if I’ll be a good fit for you, your team, or child, answering questions about sessions, cost, or anything in between, I’m happy to meet for an initial consultation to provide you with more information.
