How to Become a CMPC

  • The first step in starting your CMPC mentorship experience is to make sure we'd be a good fit.

  • Next you will schedule you first session. You will then be prompted to complete the Mentor-Mentee Agreement.

  • Begin speaking with coaches and athletes to get the word out that you are offering mental skills training services. Meet with Brooke once a week or every other week for our mentorship sessions. Our meeting frequency can be varied, but in order to stay focused on your goal of attaining your CMPC, I recommend these time frames.

  • You will be tracking your direct client contact, support activities, and mentorship hours along the way. We will work together to set goals to keep you on track to complete your CMPC hours in the time frame you desire.

  • As you get closer to completing your mentorship hours we will begin discussing how to submit your CMPC application and how to best prepare for your CMPC exam.

  • After you complete your hours, you will submit your application for approval to take your CMPC exam.

  • After you pass your exam you will then be able to begin working with athletes and performers as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant!
